Sorry for being absent for a while, but life just happened in between. As a result, we missed several big announcements.
Witness trilogy
Steven Erikson clarified in many interviews and on his own Facebook page that the Witness trilogy— the sequel to the main ten books—will be a tetralogy. We also got the two titles: No Life Forsaken and Legacies of Betrayal. So we can be happy to know that we’ll get an extra novel, which he finished in November 2024 and has already been sent to the editor.
Kharkanas trilogy
Right now, Steven Erikson is working on the next installment of the Kharkanas trilogy, titled Walk in Shadow. We also learned through personal chats during Mr. Erikson’s stay in Europe that the Kharkanas trilogy might include an additional novel, potentially expanding it from a trilogy to a tetralogy. However, this has not been officially announced, so it may depend on how well Walk in Shadow sells.
Tales of Bauchelain and Korbal Broach
As you can see from the image of the post, we now have the title for the eighth novella in the Tales of Bauchelain and Korbal Broach series, narrated by Avas Didion Flicker. The novella is titled Time’s Cursed Cartwheel, and I always smile when I see the name.
Unfortunately, none of the books have a fixed release date or a cover reveal yet—so stay tuned!
